It then moved to nearby Wilhelmshaven 11-24 August before being seen in Guernsey. Very late Turtle Dove feeding with Collared Doves at Mont Marche. Colin Best NR - 2 Pintail. On scrape, 1425.

Wed 6th Jan Port Grat - Pacific Diver reported there between 12.40 and 13.00. Grandes Havres - Pacific Diver again this morning, ranging all around the bay. Also 2 Great Northern Divers and a Black-throated Diver.
Tue 5th Jan Grandes Havres - no definite sign of the Pacific Diver today despite searching. Note that as well as the 2 Great Northern Divers there was also a 'normal' Black-throated Diver in the bay today. Also a Great Skua seen in same area today.

Sat 21st Mar Port Soif - a pair of Fan-tailed Warblers showing very well this morning in the rough ground between the football pitches and the main road. The male singing regularly. Also a Short-eared Owl past there at 2 o'clock.
Fri 20th Mar Port Soif - a Fan-tailed Warbler was present today in the bramble scrub by the road, between the football pitches and the Grandes Rocques Hotel. Possibly another bird present.
Guernsey Water site in St. Andrews (Bests Brickfield) - a Hoopoe seen this morning.

Fri 13th Mar Migrants were in today with a few Wheatear and Sand Martins along the coast, plus 2 Swallows at Pleinmont and a House Martin at Lihou Headland. Snowy Owl still on Lihou.
